Hike from Aarau to the Jura heights Wasserflue and Geissflue

The starting point is Aarau. The route leads northwards from the old town over the Aare and up to the Alpenzeiger, where there is a wonderful view of the Aarau old town. Afterwards, it continues northwards to the viewpoint at Wasserflue. Then the rocky ridge path leads to Saalhöhe and over the highest point in the canton of Aargau, which is located above the Barmelweid clinic, to Geissflue. From here it goes downhill to Erlinsbach and the last section follows the Erzbach and the Aare back to the Aarau old town.
