Hike between lake and forest

You start the route at the station in Romanshorn, which is located directly at the busy harbor. From the station, continue towards Seepark, passing the Park-Hotel Inseli. Soon you reach the small village of Uttwil with its inviting lake bath and delicious Knusperli, which you can enjoy at the Strandbad restaurant. The view of the sparkling Lake Constance accompanies you for a while until you reach Kesswil, where the Seegasthof Schiff invites you for a relaxed coffee break.

Then you cross a large section of the route through the shady Güttinger Forest, always hearing the sounds of rushing streams and chirping birds. If you have packed your own provisions, you can refresh yourself at the Wegetmoos barbecue area at the entrance or at the Widemoos barbecue area at the end of the forest.

Arriving in Widemos, the last part of the route leads you through the apple village of Altnau and finally to the end of the stage: the station in Altnau.
