Description

Upon arrival in Oberdiessbach, a short detour to the castle, which is privately owned, is worthwhile for history enthusiasts. Then follow the hiking trail past the Diessehof estate, past Unterhaus to the Falkenfluh. If the thermals are right, colorful hang gliders can be watched flying here. You can enjoy a wonderful view here, as well as on the high-altitude hike towards Schafegg. Continuing through the hilly landscape, the village of Heimenschwand soon appears. In the village, through which the path continues, there are several places to stop. Then follow a forest path into the hollow of the Wachseldornmoos. In this nature reserve with a small lake, peat was formerly cut. The path continues over the hamlets Neuhus and Schnabel down to Süderen.
