High above Guarda

Away from traffic, one enjoys a quiet life in Guarda, the setting of the story of Schellenursli, a famous Swiss picture book story. Enjoy a glass of milk or a piece of nut cake at Alp Sura – and with the new energy, the next 300 meters of ascent to the Chamanna Cler hut can be tackled more easily. At the hut, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Piz Buin and the Engadine Dolomites. The mountain peaks line up like pearls on an almost endless chain. Inspired by the view, the path leads at height to Muot l’Hom. Through flowery meadows, the path descends to Munt. Passing lonely farms, Boscha is reached at the village fountain. It's only a hop, skip, and jump back to Guarda.
