Heiden - Horn on the Alpine Panorama Trail

The stage from Heiden to Horn runs mostly downhill on the Alpine Panorama Trail and connects scenic elevations with the shores of Lake Constance. After the start in the elevated village of Heiden, the trail leads through open meadows, past fruit trees and through quiet sections of forest, repeatedly offering beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding Alpine foothills. With each section, Lake Constance gets closer until the descent to Horn opens up a wide view over the water. The hike ends in an atmospheric setting on the lakeshore and offers a successful conclusion to this panoramic stage.
