Heart trail on the flat valley floor at Lenk

In cooperation with the Swiss Heart Foundation and Loipen Schweiz, a “Heart Trail” will be signposted at Lenk from winter 23/24. The 3.4 km circular route is mostly flat and especially suitable for cross-country beginners and anyone wanting to do something for their heart health. From the Nordic Center Lenk at the Metschbahn valley station, the route leads along the flat valley floor over fields into the wintery Simmental landscape. Straight ahead is the spectacular valley end and the Wildstrubel massif. Halfway to the Simmen Falls, there is a left turn at the trail junction, and from there the trail gently descends back to the starting point.
