Description
This hut route specially for members aged 25-45 starts in the village of St. Gertraud, deep in the heart of South Tyrol. In seven days we trek through a dramatic limestone mountain range towards the peaks and along the walls of Monte Cevedale (3769 m), the König-Spitze (3859 m), and the Ortler (3905 m). The end point is the Stelvio Pass. Experts agree that this is one of the most beautiful hut routes in the Alps. Along the way, we sleep in good mountain huts, where we enjoy the Austrian-Italian cuisine. In the Julius Payerhütte, we even stay above 3000 meters. A recommendation for any mountain hiker who likes a good challenge.
