Description

The route starts directly at the mountain station of the Gotschna cable car, where before the start you can admire the magnificent view of the Prättigau and the surrounding mountain peaks. First, you run for a short section on a forest road towards Grüenhorn and then turn right onto the trail. Then follow 200 steep meters uphill to Grüenhorn. It continues along the ridge, always slightly up and down until Parsennfurgga. This section is demanding, as the trail is exposed along the mountain ridge. So caution is advised! After this exciting section, it goes downhill towards Obersäss. From here it only goes uphill! The last section to the highest point of the Davos Klosters region, the Weissfluh summit at 2,830 meters above sea level, awaits! You continue towards Wasserscheidi, where you turn right again onto a narrower trail. Then you follow the hiking trail from Wasserscheidi up to the summit, which is another almost 300 meters of elevation. At the mountain station you already see the weather station of MeteoSwiss, which sends daily measurement data throughout Switzerland. Now follows the final sprint on a hiking trail past the radar facility of the Swiss military. You made it! Take a deep breath and enjoy the view of the surrounding mountain world!
