Glaspass high above Thusis

Already a thousand years ago the Walser settlers from Safien, the valley of the Rabiusa, drove their herds over the Glaspass to the market in Thusis. The marketplace connected to the old trade route from Chur through the Via Mala, over the San Bernardino Pass south to Ticino.
