Gentle hills and the ravine of the Urnäsch

The Urnäsch separates Waldstatt and Hundwil in a deep ravine. The hike leads in a large loop east and west of the river over gentle hills within the territory of the two municipalities. In between, the route goes twice through the forest down into the ravine and back up again. Spring shows its first colorful heralds, and the cows graze on the lush green grass in the meadows.
