Furtschellas

This route offers dramatic views of both lakes and passes a number of enchanted small lakes high above the Fextal. From the Muot Marias sports center, a narrow path leads up the slope next to the Nietzsche House to a magnificent viewpoint (plus bench!) at Marmoré. From here, the high trail runs along above the Fextal and then rises to Lej Sgrischus. Pause for a moment and enjoy the quiet lake before starting the return journey via Plaun da las Furtschellas; more small lakes line the path. Either turn to Furtschellas to save your legs by taking the cable car down the valley. However, if you still feel strong and motivated, walking down to Sils with the wide view of the Engadine lakes is a very special pleasure.
