Furtschellas

This route offers dramatic vistas across both lakes and leads past a number of enchanting dreamy lakes high above Val Fex. From the sporting hub of Muot Marias, take the small trail beside the Nietzsche house winding up the mountainside to the wonderful vantage spot (plus banch) at Mamorè. From here, the path contours above Val Fex before rising up to Lej Sgrischus. Take a moment to enjoy these tranquil waters before taking the higher path heading back over Plaun da las Furtschellas. Here you will encounter further small lakes to either side of the path. Either head to Furtschellas station to save the legs and take the cable-car down, otherwise flow down the descent to Sils whilst taking in the vast lake views.
