Description

The route leads from the Botanical Garden in St.Gallen via Mörschwil downhill to Horn on Lake Constance. Here the way goes along Lake Constance via Rorschach to Altenrhein, following the Old Rhine to the destination Rheineck.

In Mörschwil as well as shortly after Horn, you pass by a small castle worth a short stop. In Altenrhein stands the only Hundertwasser building in Switzerland - the Altenrhein market hall. It was built according to the idea and concept of the famous artist. For technically interested cyclists, there is an aviation museum at Altenrhein airport displaying aircraft from old times.

Along the entire route by Lake Constance, various beach baths also invite you to linger.  The nature along the Old Rhine is under nature protection and hosts many different bird and plant species.

Finally, the town of Rheineck entices with a picturesque old town and a diverse culinary offer.
