Description

The bike route starts in the historic old town of St.Gallen, which is known for its UNESCO World Heritage Abbey District and its significant textile history. To better get to know the World Heritage Site, a visit to the St.Gallen Abbey Library, a world-famous library, is worthwhile before departure. Those interested in the textile history should also take a detour to the Textile Museum St.Gallen.

After these cultural discoveries, the route initially passes the green St.Gallen City Park, a popular local recreation area, and winds through the rural communities of Wittenbach and Roggwil.

Finally, you reach the little town of Arbon on the picturesque Lake Constance. The lake invites you to a refreshing dip or a cozy drink in one of the popular lakeside bars while enjoying the fresh lake air and the view over the sparkling water.
