From Bad Zurzach to Waldshut (D) – Discovering both sides of the Rhine riverbanks

You leave the historic spot of Bad Zurzach and cycle along the Rhine to reach the nature reserve Aue "Chly Rhy." The picturesque river landscape with its flora and fauna is especially charming in spring and summer. Follow the idyllic forest path along the Rhine, past Laufen to Koblenz, where you cross the bridge and the customs station. After the customs, continue towards the campsite and follow the Rhine once again for a short distance. After the brief but steep final ascent, you reach the lovely small town of Waldshut.

In Waldshut, you can explore the historic town center, which offers a charming atmosphere to linger. Enjoy a delicious ice cream and a coffee before starting the return journey.

This leads you back on the German side of the Rhine to the customs station, where you follow the entire Rhine Valley cycle path to Rheinheim. There, you cross the bridge to return to Bad Zurzach.
