The trail is designed to be divided into several stages and is easily accessible by public transport at many points along the way (included in the hiking trail guide "Freiämterweg", also available at www.freiamt.ch).
Alternatively, there is also the East Route and the Lindenberg Variant; take a look at those as well!
Erlebnis Freiamt invites you to discover many art and cultural treasures with the hiking trail guide "Freiämterweg" and to enjoy the largely sparsely settled and naturally used landscape. Monasteries and old towns, magnificently restored churches and well-preserved farmhouses, sawmills and mills, but also naturally flowing streams, quiet forests and lush meadows please both eye and mind.
