Description

The starting point of the hike is the Rossweid valley station. If you don't have a ticket yet, you can get the pedestrian ticket and of course the photo kit here. While the cable car comfortably carries you up the mountain, you can closely inspect the photo kit gadgets and study the booklet. There is a gadget for each of the five photo stations to boost creativity on the photo trail. The booklet also contains challenging challenges and practical tips for each photo station.

And then it's off on the photo trail through the enchanting winter landscape. The approximately one-hour circular hike leads from Rossweid through beautifully snow-covered moorlands and past gnarled mountain pines to Schwarzenegg. From there, it goes back to Rossweid on a direct, slightly downhill path.

Now creativity is called for! You dive into the world of reflection, colors, focus, framing, and depth effect. A highlight along the way is, for example, the oversized photo frame with the snow-dusted Schrattenfluh as a motif. After the last station, with the camera or mobile phone full of photos and your mind filled with new knowledge, you reach the Schwarzenegg ski hut. A stop on the sunny terrace is worthwhile here before tackling the last section back to Rossweid mountain station.

Opening hours The Sörenberg photo trail is open daily during the winter season of Bergbahnen Sörenberg AG. More information can be found here.

Prices The photo trail is free of charge. You can comfortably reach the start and end point of the photo trail by the Rossweid gondola, and the pedestrian ticket can be purchased in the online shop or at the valley station.
