Description

Normally, the slowUp Hochrhein takes place between Stein-Säckingen and the two Laufenburgs on the 3rd Sunday in June. During slowUp, the route mostly runs along main and federal roads closed to motorized traffic. Along the route, many festival sites invite you to stop and refresh yourself. But even without the slowUp, the route is worth a trip: the charming old towns of the two Laufenburgs and Bad Säckingen, various restaurants, and the natural swimming pool in Murg offer variety. Between Bad Säckingen (Germany) and Stein (Switzerland), the longest covered wooden bridge in Europe spans the Rhine.

Please consider when planning the route whether border crossings are possible due to the corona pandemic.
