Discover Laura's favorite places

Breathtaking views, idyllic nature, and warm hospitality: every hiking heart beats faster on this route! The circular route begins at the "starting point" at Gais station and leads (counterclockwise) to the power spot, where Laura starts her days with some yoga exercises. It then continues to the "swing spot" on Sommersberg, where a Hollywood swing invites you to gaze over the wide Rhine Valley and towards Vorarlberg. At the "work spot" near Gäbrisseeli, Laura shows traditional carvings by local white cooper Hans Mösli from Gais. The "story spot" at Restaurant Unterer Gäbris is dedicated to the stories of Laura's aunt "Flöckli." Visitors can listen to the stories—read by Laura—and discover the wonderful pictures by Lilly Langenegger. After ascending to Gäbris, the route continues to the bell spot, where Laura rings the bells and also lets visitors do so. Returning via the painting spot in Obergais, with pictures by Irene Hofstetter, brings you back to the start of the route.
