Description

The route starts in the Sertig Valley, a quiet side valley of Davos, and leads from there over steep trails into the Ducan Valley. The valley offers a wide, open landscape with stunning panorama. A beautiful singletrail winds along the valley up to the Fanezfurgga, a 2,580 meter high pass, followed by a long, fast downhill section to the idyllic Oberalp. Stop! Here you have to make a decision. Our route now crosses the Oberalp and continues north. However, you can make a worthwhile detour to Monstein, where you will lose about 300 meters of elevation.

Monstein, located at 1,620 meters, is home to just 200 inhabitants who live here all year round. And a brewery. The Monsteiner is a beer you should definitely try on your way through the village. After tasting the local brew, you can either take the way back to the Oberalp or follow the forest trail and gravel road to rejoin the route.

Back on the route, the path leads through the forest to the mountain station of the Rinerhorn cable car. From there, it goes over a gravel road to Äbirügg, from where it continues over a stunning singletrail back to the starting point in Sertig.
