Description
The route starts at the Wolfgang Pass at Kessler's Kulm, where the first lap is completed. After the warm-up lap, it goes along Lake Davos into the Flüela Valley. On the World Cup track, it climbs the Cologna-Stutz, over the Snowfarming trail to the end of the Flüela trail. During the fast ride back to Davos Dorf, there is enough time to catch your breath. Upon arriving down in the valley, the route leads directly into the next side valley: the Dischma Valley. Along the Dischma stream, the trail runs to the Teufi. Although the climbs are not very long, they are challenging – but the view towards Dürrboden, visible at Teufi height, is definitely worth it.
After the quick descent back to the Davos night trail, it goes over the Herz trail (former airfield) past Hofmänner Sport towards Islen. Passing the AO Center, the trail runs over the Wildboden into the Sertig Valley. The third and last side valley is also demanding – but differently than the Dischma Valley. It may not be as steep as the Dischma Valley, but much longer. From the Sertig Mill, the trail climbs along the stream towards Sertig Dörfli. The view at the highest point is impressive. Sertig Dörfli with its beautiful church, the waterfall, and the famous Walser House all in one view… unforgettable.
Now the same trail leads back to Davos Frauenkirch. Upon arrival in Davos Frauenkirch, the marathon route ends. The bus takes you back to Davos Platz (free with the Davos Klosters Premium Card). If you still have enough energy, you can return on the cross-country trail along the Landwasser stream.
