Cycle path through the Simmental (Lenk - Zweisimmen - Spiez)

The cycle path takes you along the villages of the Simmental, past fire pits and beautiful Simmental houses along the Hausweg. From Lenk to Zweisimmen, the path is basically flat, and although there is a 600-meter descent from Zweisimmen to Spiez, there are a few small uphill sections to master. A wonderful opportunity to cycle leisurely through the Simmental.

The sections Lenk - Simmenfälle and Lenk - Zweisimmen are also easy to ride with a bike trailer. Zweisimmen - Boltigen as well, although part of it is on the main road without a cycle lane.

Stage 3 of the national Cycle Route 9 (Lake Route) runs through the Simmental. From Zweisimmen to Spiez, you follow this route and the red cycle route signs of Lake Route 9. Lenk - Zweisimmen is also signposted with red cycle route signs.

No technical challenges are to be expected on this route.
