Circular hike «Agasul – Kyburg»

From Agasul, the path leads you to First, where at the exit of the hamlet, in clear weather, a breathtaking view of the Alpine range from Säntis to the Bernese Alps opens up. You continue hiking on the Way of St. James through the forest and then onto the scenic high plains up to Kyburg Castle.

Learn more about the 800-year history and the rulers who exercised their power from Kyburg. A rest in the castle garden is worthwhile; young visitors will also find a knight's playground in front of the castle.

The path then continues to the hamlet of Ettenhausen. On field paths and through the Chäferberg forest, you return to First. Enjoy a refreshing drink at the First restaurant. The last stretch takes you back to Agasul on the Way of St. James.
