Castle Tour Region Frauenfeld

The Frauenfeld region is rich in historic castles, palaces, and ruins that take their visitors on a fascinating journey through time. The tour begins at the impressive Frauenfeld Castle, the emblem of the cantonal capital and the seat of the Thurgau Historical Museum.

From there, the route continues to Gachnang Castle and Kefikon Castle before reaching the Helfenberg Ruin. Then it goes to Herdern Castle, which is now used as a residential, working, and employment site, and continues to Liebenfels Castle. Gündelhart Castle impresses with its special elegance before the historic Castellum ad Fines is visited. The round ends with a return to Frauenfeld.
