Brook Trail Saubach, Kreuzlingen

The easy hike - predominantly downhill - leads through the Emmishofen district. The Saubach accompanies the entire route, partially open, partially hidden. Especially in the Irsee area, the brook was uncovered and ecologically enhanced in 2011. Between Konstanzerstrasse and Bahnhofstrasse, the Saubach was partially opened in 2016, ecologically enhanced within existing canal walls, and made flood-safe. This created new habitats for fish, small animals, and plants.
