Bregaglia - Val d'Avers

By spending the night in Avers and then returning to Bergell on foot, the complicated return journey by transport over the Splügen or Julier Pass can be avoided. The villages of Juppa and Juf offer various accommodations in small, cosy inns. Throughout the trek there is an atmosphere of extreme tranquillity; this is a characteristic feature of the valleys located in the north of the Bergell. The route is quite pleasant and takes a flat course through secluded landscapes.
