Description
From Böbikon, you hike across the high plateau of the Tafeljura mountain, with a short detour to the "Nurren" vantage point. From there, your view sweeps far across the Rhine to the Black Forest and down to Rekingen/CH and Reckingen/D, as well as the market town of Bad Zurzach with its striking Turmhotel. After a short break, return along the path to follow the original route to Rekingen and the Rhine. On the route along the Rhine, you can really unwind and enjoy the peace and nature all the way to Bad Zurzach. If you wish, you can also switch to the German side at the Reckingen power station (option A). Both stretches of the riverbank are very varied, as the last free-flowing stretch of the river between Lake Constance and Rotterdam begins at the power station. Both sides are practically the same length, as they almost always run directly alongside the water.
