Boat trip and short summer hike Treib-Seelisberg-Bauen

After we get off the boat at Treib coming from Brunnen or Lucerne, we ascend behind the venerable Tagsatzung building - the first federal house of the Swiss Confederation - up to Seelisberg. The first climb is the toughest. At the Treib-Seelisberg-Bahn mountain station, the ascent is completed. Now it goes on comfortably. We won't sweat anymore. We cross the village of Seelisberg past the famous Hotel Sonnenberg. At Tanzplatz, we turn left into the forest. At Marienhöhe, we can take a rest. The view is unique and the shade cools. Through the romantic path, it continues towards Wissig. We pass the little castle Beroldingen. Soon we come to a short descent that leads us to Bauen. The cool wind from Lake Uri makes our stay easier until the boat comes that takes us back to Brunnen or Lucerne.
