Bike route to the UNESCO World Heritage sites at Lake Constance

Cultural highlights are not uncommon at Lake Constance. Three of them are even listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. The Abbey District in St. Gallen and the Reichenau Monastery Island are considered cradles of European civilization. In 2011, the Prehistoric Pile Dwellings around the Alps were also added to the World Heritage list. Many of these prehistoric sites are located in the Lake Constance region.
