Description

Then follows a magnificent finale from the Bernina Pass via Diavolezza and the Pers Glacier, one of the most impressive glacier landscapes in the Eastern Alps. Who doesn't know the images of Piz Palü, Piz Bernina and the Biancograt?

Typical for the south side of the Bernina massif is the very varied terrain with many glaciers, snowfields and wild paths. After the Bernina Hospice, you enter the northern, Swiss part of the Bernina. Via the large Diavolezza hut, a classic glacier route takes you to the Chamanna da Boval. From here, beautiful views of Piz Palü and Piz Bernina. The route goes not only over marked paths but also regularly through untracked terrain, through scree fields and over steep passes with loose debris. Some glaciers are scattered with rock and debris.
