Beckenried-Risletenschlucht-Treib

Up to the Risleten rocks you hike on a paved road, mostly along Lake Lucerne. Then the trail continues on footpaths. Immediately after passing the gorge, the trail requires a bit of fitness as it climbs about 300 metres in a short distance. After that, however, the hike is very pleasant with easy uphill and downhill.

Even if the weather is not too nice, the hike is recommendable. It is interesting if it rained the day before, as then a lot of water rages down through the gorge.

The return journey from Treib to Beckenried can be enjoyed in a relaxed manner by boat. Of course, the hike can also be done in the opposite direction. There are boat connections from Beckenried to Treib every hour in summer.
