Around the Gütsch

Start your hike in the charming village of Rütschelen, nestled in the gentle hills of the Oberaargau. The well-marked path leads you on a pleasantly ascending route through forests and over meadows towards the Gütsch.

The ascent to the Gütsch is moderate and also manageable for less experienced hikers. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with a wonderful view: gentle hills, vast fields and idyllic farms shape the panorama.

A special highlight on this route is the generously designed barbecue area at the edge of the forest. Here, an idyllic fire pit with seating invites you to linger – perfect for a break or a cosy picnic with a view.

The circular route then takes you back through varied landscapes to Rütschelen. Sometimes through bright forests, sometimes over open fields – always accompanied by the peaceful atmosphere of the rural area.
