Apollo Run (Mürren)

The mountain village Mürren is considered the birthplace of alpine skiing. But sledding fans also get their money's worth in the Schilthorn area, including on this path, which has been operating since the winter season 2014/15. The 4-person chairlift (behind the Schilthornbahn station in Mürren) glides up quickly to the starting point Schiltgrat, where for the first time there is a divine view of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. On the first sections the sleds really pick up speed. Depending on snow conditions, the second part is rather slower. After speeding past the sun-bathed chalet of “Gimmela,” the rustic Mürren comes back into view. Through the snowy forest you finally reach the village again at the bottom.
