Alpine Cheese Trail Stage Brunni
Informationen zur Route
Description
The stage starts at the monastery's show dairy. The valley station of the Brunni cable car, which takes you up to Ristis, is just a stone's throw away. Once at the top, the children will likely have a great time: playground, barbecue areas, and a summer toboggan run invite you to linger. After a short walk past the chairlift Ristis-Brunni, you reach Alp Hüttismatt, where cheese can be purchased for the first time on this tour. The return journey follows the same route, with a return hike from the chairlift on an asphalt path. But first, there is still Alp Langerboden – excellent alpine cheese is also produced and sold here. This provides energy for the upcoming, always downhill meters via Bränd, Spisboden, Heg, Bergli, Zelgli, and Bockti on narrow, mostly car-free paths and otherwise lightly trafficked residential streets. From the swimming pool, it is not far to the station or back to the starting point of the stage.
Please note that depending on weather conditions (snow cover), not all alpine dairies may be staffed in June and that from mid-October the alp areas are no longer supervised.
