Description

In winter, Lü is the starting point for the high trail and the sledding path to Tschierv. The four-kilometer long route starts directly at the PostAuto stop and leads leisurely on mostly even terrain through snow-covered forests to Tschierv. Where the piste leaves the forest, the panorama opens onto the opposite valley side and towards the east. Majestic: the Ortler massif, which is presented in the background. Tschierv is the destination of the descent. The highest valley community in Val Müstair lies southeast of the Ofen Pass and borders the Swiss National Park. Interesting: The buildings in Tschierv are influenced by both the Engadine and nearby South Tyrol. Particularly worth seeing are the village sections Chasuras, Plaz and Süsom Tschierv as well as the church in Tschierv from the 15th century with the restored organ.

The sledding path can also be started from Alp Champatsch; for this you must first walk from Lü towards Alp Champatsch. After the ascent to Alp Champatsch, you can take a break at the restaurant La Posa and then begins the fast ride down to Tschierv.
