Airolo Bike

To take this route, arriving at the railway station of Airolo, you must follow the cantonal road in the direction of the Bedretto Valley.

In a few minutes you will reach the Airolo-Pesciüm cable car, which will allow you to climb to the Sasso della Boggia (2'065 m a.s.l.). When on the top, make sure to take a moment to admire the stunning view of the Gotthard massif, and why not, swing on the spectacular panoramic swing.It's time to start! The first descent of this itinerary consists of a medium-easy route; after the first kilometre on a single trail, you will easily cycle through pastures and mountains to Cassinello, and then reach a dirt road that ends in Ravina.

Continue towards Nante, crossing a suggestive wood and the characteristic mountain farmsteads, and continue on the dirt road towards the Alpe di Pesciüm. Through bends and pine woods, descend towards Fontana, and finally return to the starting point of the cable car following the "Strada Bassa".
