Aeugi-Lowa-Way

A beautiful mountain hiking trail leads through the alpine meadows to Luegli. The path becomes narrow (Alpine Route) and takes you to the Bummeregrat ridge. At the end of the ridge, a zig-zag path runs through steep flanks and rocky sections. Difficult sections are equipped with iron steps. The views down into the Bütschital and from the Wildhorn over Silleren and Schwandfälspitz as far as the Unterland are unique.

The rocky path then continues (always secured by chains and iron steps) up to the Ammertenspitz. The descent to Engstligenalp offers a magnificent view through the Entschligetal valley. The destination of the hike, Engstligenalp, is a magnificent high plateau, which also contains many sources of water and energy.
