Description

From Davos, you ride through the beautiful Dischma valley to Dürrboden. Here begins the sometimes very steep ascent along the old mule track up to the Scaletta Pass. For good bikers, the pass is 80-90% rideable. The descent to Alp Funtauna is tricky in places and requires all your riding skills. A mostly good single trail runs through the high-lying Val Funtauna, which becomes very steep in the final section, up to the Keschhütte. The modern SAC hut is even equipped with Nordic comforters and invites you to linger. After a magnificent panoramic view of the glacier and mountains, a rapid descent follows through the Val Tuors to Bergün. From Filisur back to Davos, the crossing of the 80-metre-high Wiesner Viaduct and the old train path that runs above the Zügenschlücht are real highlights.
