This hike takes you into the canton of Uri on the impressive high-level trail of the Silen mountains - a panoramic trail with fantastic views of the Reuss valley and the surrounding mountains. Start the day with a relaxed journey on the Treno Gottardo. After arriving in Erstfeld, continue by bus to Silenen and from there take the Chilcherbergen-Silenen cable car up to the starting point of your hike. This is the start of the Silener Berge high-altitude trail, which takes around 2.5 hours and leads you through varied alpine landscapes, over panoramic mountain ranges and past impressive rock formations.
