In summer 2025, the colorful and visually stunning Rigi Festival will return to Rigi Staffel in an updated version to mark the 150th anniversary of the ARTH-RIGI-BAHN. On June 4, 1875, the railroad began operating between Arth am See and Rigi Kulm, the first railroad line to run entirely within the canton of Schwyz. You can look forward to exciting stories about life on the Rigi, impressively staged Central Swiss customs and traditions and a fantastic orchestra under the direction of Christoph Walter.
