Locarno – Madonna del Sasso (Orselina) funicular railway
The funicular railway connects the centre of Locarno with the Madonna del Sasso pilgrimage site in Orselina. It not only provides a convenient link to the sanctuary but also connects to the cable car to Cardada, making it an ideal starting point for excursions into the surrounding mountains.
Until March, the funicular runs daily every 30 minutes. From April, the funicular runs every 15 minutes.
