Description
In the past, the pantry next to the kitchen was the farmer's wife's pride and joy. Flour, cereals, sugar and spices were stored in chests, preserves and jams were neatly organised in jars on the shelves and the ham hung high from the ceiling.
Today, the Spensa in Safien Platz is full of products from the Safien Valley region. Baked goods, syrup and bee honey are beautifully packaged on the shelves, salsiz, eggs and alpine cheese are stored in the fridge and fresh meat from animals from the Safiental lies frozen in the freezer. Beautiful handicrafts from the valley are also on sale.
Opening Hours
The Spensa is open for you 365 days a year! In summer from 8.30 a.m. to 8 p.m., in winter from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.!
