Rigi Hochflue

The Alpine hiking trail can be accessed either via the Gätterli Pass (from Rigi Scheidegg/Burggeist or Lauerz) or via Urmiberg. Good footwear and mountain hiking experience are a must. Depending on the trail, you may also require a mountain climbing experience. The trail is dotted with steep ladders and rocks from Egg/Urmiberg onwards. However, the view from the Hochflue is definitely worth the effort. An unbelievable 360° panoramic view lets you gaze miles into the distance.
