Jost farm shop, Wohlen b. Bern

The farm shop sells seasonal fruit such as apples, pears, plums and freshly pressed and pasteurised sweet cider. There is now a farm vending machine next to the farm shop with various delicacies from and around the farm. The animal-friendly milk can be obtained from the fresh milk vending machine. Here, dairy cows are allowed to rear their calves themselves: they are not taken away from them immediately after birth as is usually the case. This form of rearing is known as mother-bonded calf rearing, or MuKa for short.
