Grotto Dei Due Ponti
Description
In fact, ‘Grotto dei due Ponti’ (Two Bridges Grotto) is located on a small island on the river Ticino, linked by two Roman bridges which gave the grotto its name.
The large terrace, the surrounding vegetation and the freshness produced by the water, create a delightful location in which to spend the warm summer evenings. Tradition and creativity characterise the dishes proposed, which are always prepared with fresh and seasonal products. In addition, the classic but always highly appreciated local salami, cold pork meat and Alpine cheeses are available. All the food is found to be agreeable and appreciated not only by the customers and also by Slow Food that includes the grotto in its "Osterie d’Italia" (Inns of Italy) guide.
