Grimmiwasser source of energy

Description

The Grimmiwasser place of power is a high-altitude alpine hut (1840 m above sea level) at the end of the Diemtigtal valley. Small areas of moorland, alpine flowers and the iron-rich Grimmiwasser springs act as natural energy dispensers. The red water from the iron springs, which was said to have a healing effect, was piped to the then Grand Hotel Grimmialp at the end of the 19th century.

An impressive high plateau stretches out on the Grimmi Alp (1740 m above sea level). The simple mountain restaurant invites you to take a break and admire the magnificent mountain panorama of the nearby Spillgerten and the vastness of the valley. The cheerful whistling of the marmots is not uncommon. The mountain road leads steeply and windingly through the shady mountain forest down into the valley.
