Chessiloch waterfall & hanging bridge

Description

In the Chessiloch area in Flühli, there is a lot to discover in a small space. On the way to the Chessiloch, you will come across a small sulfur spring. This invites everyone to take a big gulp of the healthy sulfur water, which was even considered curative in the past. If necessary, with a pinched nose.

After a short ascent you will reach a beautiful barbecue area, which invites you to linger. From here it is only a few meters to the suspension bridge, which hovers up to 45 meters above the gorge and the Seebebach. With 65 meters it is the longest suspension bridge in the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch and opens up 14 hiking routes.

If you take the right path at the barbecue site, it leads along the Seebenbach into the gorge. Here you will find a viewing platform, smaller waterfalls and finally a small suspension bridge that leads to the larger waterfall Chessiloch.
