Café Spittel Kaiserstuhl
Description
The town of Kaiserstuhl, part of the municipality of Zurzach, is home to the Spittel.
This historic old town house, built in 1778 and completely renovated in 2003, is open all year round with 3 BnB rooms with shared bathrooms, a café, fully equipped workspaces and free Wi-Fi.
BnB visitors can also choose from a rich breakfast on request, the sporty cyclist can conveniently store his bike in the ground floor cellar (lockable) and then take the lift to all floors, which are barrier-free. A fridge for house guests, spacious lounges and an outdoor terrace round off the facilities, while a playroom with age-appropriate toys is available for children.
Kaiserstuhl can be described as the ideal image of a medieval town and is ideal for exploratory walks, with the Rhine as a recreational area in the immediate vicinity. There are also the vineyards of the Engelhof winery on the opposite = DE side of the Rhine. For those interested, the two guided tours "History and Stories" and "Water & Fountains" are offered by appointment.
