Atelier Giacometti
Description
The small stable in the centre of Stampa was renovated into a studio in 1906 on the initiative of Giovanni Giacometti. It was in this room that Giovanni's children and his wife Annetta often posed for the painter. After Giovanni's death in 1933, his now famous son Alberto used the studio when he visited his mother in the summer months. Even today, the traces of both arists can be seen in the light, over four-metre-high room. Guided tours every Thursday and Sunday at 3 p.m. by appointment at the Ciäsa Granda Museum.
