Description
The Museo Villa dei Cedri, located in the district of Bellinzona-Ravecchia, is housed in a 19th century manor house, surrounded by a park of centuries-old trees overlooking the square of the ancient church of Saint Biagio. Temporary exhibitions and events for families, young people and adults are regularly organized in the rooms of the villa as well as in its park.

The Museo Villa dei Cedri is celebrating its 40th anniversary! To mark this milestone, the exhibition depicts the vibrant cultural and artistic scene prevailing from the final decades of the nineteenth century to the present day that inspired the foundation of the City Museum. Art works, objects of archaeology, applied art and documents enable us to follow this fascinating history, little known but not without surprises, that is still the hallmark of Ticino cantonal culture and art today.
