Description
The Kunsthaus Glarus offers a platform for the presentation of Swiss and international contemporary art as well as the collection holdings of the Glarner Kunstverein and regional art. The Glarner Kunstverein has been collecting works by regional, Swiss and international artists since 1870. The history of the reception of Swiss art and its international connections in the 19th and 20th centuries can be traced through the collection from the end of the 19th century to the 1950s.
Children up to the age of 16 can visit the museum free of charge. There are also regular free workshops for children aged 6 and over.
